Abigail L. Yeo
About Abigail
Abby Yeo represents public and private entities in civil litigation, with a focus on employment-related disputes and matters involving public institutions. She assists schools, nonprofit organizations, and local governments, and is familiar with the particular responsibilities and public accountability that accompany their work.
Abby’s litigation experience includes representing national and international organizations in complex civil disputes involving multiple business units, regulatory regimes, and stakeholders. Her work has required developing an understanding of clients’ operations, business models, and internal decision-making processes in order to evaluate risk, manage large factual records, and litigate disputes grounded in contracts, tort claims, and statutory compliance.
Building on that foundation, Abby handles employment disputes, including claims alleging constitutional and statutory violations. Her work in this area often involves sensitive workplace issues and matters with broader institutional implications.
In addition to her litigation practice, Abby assists employers in understanding and meeting their obligations under state and federal employment and labor laws, including issues that arise in connection with administrative agencies and workplace compliance.
Abby joined Miller Nash after clerking for the United States District Court for the District of Oregon. She previously practiced as a litigation associate in the New York office of a national law firm. She maintains a commitment to pro bono service and volunteering with children’s literacy programs.
