Danielle Riege

Danielle Riege is an associate on the firm's business & corporate team whose practice focuses largely on entertainment and media, intellectual property, and general business matters. Danielle assists clients in a variety of entertainment and media matters, including drafting and negotiating agreements for film, television, podcast, and other creative industry projects, as well as advising clients on copyright registration for musical works. She also advises clients on all stages of trademark protection including clearance searches, registration application, enforcement, prosecution, and settlement. In addition to her entertainment and media and intellectual property practice, Danielle has experience advising businesses on a range of corporate matters. She has assisted with mergers and acquisitions, entity formation, commercial contracting, and the drafting and negotiation of various agreements such as NDAs.

Danielle first joined the firm as a summer associate in 2022 and returned in 2023 before joining the firm as an associate in 2024. During law school, she served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Michael J. McShane of the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon, where she conducted legal research and drafted memoranda addressing a broad range of complex legal issues. She also served as a Legal Research & Writing tutor for first-year law students. Before pursuing a legal career, Danielle spent seven years in marketing within the technology and fashion industries. Her business background provides valuable perspective when helping clients develop practical, strategic solutions aligned with their commercial objectives.
