Tara O’Hanlon Elected President of the International Right of Way Association Puget Sound Chapter

Miller Nash LLP construction team leader, Tara O’Hanlon, will serve as president of the International Right of Way Association (IRWA) Puget Sound Chapter. As president, Tara will work with chapter leadership to provide educational and networking opportunities to its 300 active members across Western Washington. She has been an active member of IRWA for years and is a frequent presenter to IRWA chapters across Washington.

Tara is a proven leader in the areas of condemnation and eminent domain and has successfully tried numerous multimillion-dollar cases, including obtaining successful verdicts in several of Washington’s largest eminent domain decisions.

About Tara O’Hanlon
Tara counsels clients over the life of their construction or real estate acquisition projects, from drafting and negotiating comprehensive and practical contracts to finding creative solutions for early and efficient resolution of disputes. Tara represents municipal agencies and property owners in their eminent domain/condemnation acquisitions, as well as all segments of the design and construction industry. In addition to contract negotiation, she advises clients on how to avoid claims and disputes and, if needed, helps them navigate arbitrating or litigating payment, delay, defect and warranty claims. Tara received her bachelor’s degree from Boston College before earning her law degree at Georgetown University Law Center.
