Miller Nash attorney Mitchell Diesko has joined the Friends of the Children–Portland Ambassador Board. The organization’s mission is to impact generational change by empowering youth who are facing the greatest obstacles through relationships with professional mentors for a minimum of 12 years. In 1993, Friends of the Children opened its doors with three salaried, professional mentors called “Friends” serving 24 children. Today, Friends of the Children–Portland guides, supports, and mentors hundreds of youths across the Portland metropolitan area.
As a member of the ambassador board, Mitchell joins a group of young professionals who have committed themselves to raise awareness of the mission and goals of Friends of the Children through marketing, fundraising, and relationship building among the next generation of community supporters.
