Miller Nash LLP is pleased to announce that Chad Paulson has rejoined the firm as a partner. Drawing on more than two decades of senior in-house and C-suite experience across public, private equity-owned and privately held organizations, Chad advises companies and executives on complex legal, operational, and strategic matters with a business-first perspective.

Chad's in-house career spans numerous industries including manufacturing, energy storage, retail, and utilities, providing him with a deep understanding of enterprise risk and regulatory complexity. He has led global legal, compliance, human resources, commercial contracting, intellectual property strategy, and dispute resolution functions, advising boards and executive teams on critical business initiatives. His experience includes leading major M&A transactions, preparing companies for IPOs, guiding organizations through Chapter 11 restructurings, overseeing global entity structuring, and modernizing contracting, compliance, and IP management systems. In addition to legal leadership, Chad has delivered meaningful operational results, including multimillion-dollar reductions in legal and SG&A spend, improved workforce performance, and enhanced governance and risk controls.

He earned his bachelor’s degree from Oregon State University and his law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law.
