Miller Nash continues to strengthen its bench in Oregon with the addition of three highly respected attorneys. The arrival of Aaron Landau, Julian Marrs, and Arden Olson marks a significant expansion of the firm’s depth in public law, employment, litigation, appellate, and regulatory matters, further enhancing the sophisticated counsel Miller Nash delivers to public and private clients across the region. Prior to joining Miller Nash, Aaron, Julian, and Arden practiced at Harrang Long, a well-regarded Pacific Northwest firm with a longstanding reputation for excellence in public law and complex litigation.

About Aaron Landau

Aaron focuses his practice on appellate advocacy and complex issues of public law. He represents both public entities and private clients in appeals of civil litigation, including business disputes, torts, and administrative decisions. Aaron works extensively with public bodies and officials on issues that shape governance and accountability, such as state and local elections, public records matters, and state constitutional questions. He has also handled a wide range of business and commercial disputes, ranging from health care to product liability. In addition to his work as an attorney, Aaron teaches a course in Oregon civil procedure at the University of Oregon School of Law.

About Julian Marrs

Julian advises public and private entities on a wide range of governance, employment and operational matters, and helps them avoid or resolve disputes efficiently and effectively. His clients include healthcare providers, municipal corporations, businesses, special districts, educational institutions, and individuals. Julian is experienced representing clients in arbitration, administrative hearings, and before state and federal courts and appellate tribunals. He uses that varied experience to effectively guide clients through the litigation process, ensuring they understand what to expect. Julian joins the firm’s prominent employment law & labor relations team.

About Arden Olson

Arden advises public and private entities on complex matters involving health law, ERISA, legal ethics, and regulatory compliance. He helps organizations navigate evolving state and federal requirements, implement practical compliance strategies and resolve disputes efficiently in both state and federal courts. Additionally, he represents lawyers, judges and law firms in matters of professional responsibility, legal and judicial ethics advice, risk management, and defense before their regulatory bodies.

Drawing on his experience with the Oregon Department of Justice, including as a charter member of its Special Litigation Unit and as General Counsel to SAIF Corporation, Arden brings a deep understanding of how government and regulated industries intersect. He has also served as General Counsel to a Coordinated Care Organization and a regional health maintenance organization, advising on governance, operations, and regulatory matters. Arden joins the firm’s established litigation team.
