Miller Nash attorney Sophia von Bergen has been selected as the 2025 Oregon State Bar (OSB) Pro Bono Challenge winner for the “Individual-at-a-Firm” and “Oregon New Lawyers Division (ONLD) Member” categories. Sophie was celebrated at the OSB’s Celebrating Oregon Lawyers awards dinner on October 22, 2025.

“We congratulate Sophie on this well-deserved honor,” said Kieran Curley, managing partner. “Sophie’s dedication to pro bono efforts within our firm and the statewide community continues to be an inspiration to those who have the pleasure to work with her.”

Each year, based on nominations from members and the public, the OSB honors a select group of lawyers and judges who have made outstanding contributions to the community and the profession. The OSB’s Pro Bono Challenge recognizes the lawyers and law firms who reported the most time providing direct pro bono services.
