Seth Row and Nancy Kornegay Appointed as Cochairs of American College of Coverage Counsel Committees

Miller Nash partner, Seth Row, and special counsel, Nancy Kornegay, have been appointed as committee cochairs with the American College of Coverage Counsel (ACCC), the premier association of lawyers who focus their practice on insurance law and the representation of insurers and policyholders. Row was appointed as cochair of the Communications Committee and Kornegay was appointed as cochair of the D&O, Management & Professional Liability Committee. Row was elected as an ACCC fellow in 2022 and Kornegay was elected in 2017.

Row’s role as cochair of the Communications Committee focuses on promoting and publicizing ACCC events to outside insurance news organizations and acts as the focal point for other committees to circulate news about the ACCC and its members, both internally and externally.

Kornegay’s responsibilities as cochair of the D&O, Management & Professional Liability Committee involves promoting communication among D&O practitioners concerning current developments in insurance law and legal issues involved in underlying claims. The D&O, Management & Professional Liability Committee’s focus is to encourage an enhanced environment for the efficient and fair resolution of D&O coverage disputes.

In his more than 20 years of practice, he has assisted clients in recovering millions of dollars under nearly every kind of insurance policy, including property, business income, Directors & Officers, representations & warranties, marine, and cyber-risk policies. Row is recognized as a “Leader in Their Field” by Chambers USA for Litigation: General Commercial. In addition, he has been selected for inclusion on the Oregon Super Lawyers list and recognized in The Best Lawyers in America® in Litigation—Insurance and Insurance Law. Row received his bachelor’s degree from Yale University before earning his law degree at Georgetown University Law Center.

About Nancy Kornegay
Kornegay assists policyholders across a broad spectrum of industries and businesses with their commercial policyholder claims. She regularly represents clients in insurance coverage disputes involving first-party property damage, business interruption, and commercial general liability claims. In addition, Kornegay represents and advises corporate clients in D&O, securities, and fidelity claims coverage. Kornegay is routinely recognized for her professional accomplishments, including as a “Leader in Their Field” by Chambers USA for Insurance—Nationwide and selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® in Insurance Law. She also regularly writes and speaks on insurance coverage topics with a focus on D&O and securities claims coverage issues. Nancy received her B.A. from the University of Houston before earning her J.D. at the University of Houston Law Center.
