Miller Nash welcomes Andrew Morton to the firm’s bankruptcy & creditors’ rights team. Andrew, based in the firm’s Seattle office, counsels corporate clients including financial institutions, creditors’ committees, investment funds, third-party purchasers, and creditors on complex financial restructurings, reorganizations, workouts, financing transactions, and related commercial matters.
Andrew joins Miller Nash’s bankruptcy & creditors’ rights team. With a focus on commercial credits, the team represents regional and national lenders, creditors’ committees, trade creditors, court-appointed receivers, asset purchasers, and commercial landlords, and attorneys assist in a wide range of collection and insolvency situations. In addition to general commercial collections, attorneys have significant industry expertise with credits involving commercial real estate, senior housing, health care, food processing, manufacturing, agriculture, timber, and intellectual property.
Before joining Miller Nash, Andrew served as a corporate restructuring consultant at a leading restructuring and bankruptcy consulting firm. He also practiced for more than a decade at nationally recognized AmLaw 200 law firms where he developed deep experience in bankruptcy, finance, and corporate transactions.

He works closely with clients to understand their business objectives and craft strategies that align legal solutions with broader operational and financial goals. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington before earning his law degree at Washington and Lee University School of Law.
