Miller Nash attorney Katie Bennett was recently elected to serve as secretary on the executive board of the Federal Bar Association (FBA) Oregon Chapter. Her term will run from 2025-2026.
The local chapter of the FBA is an important connection with the federal bench in Oregon. Board members help produce the chapter newsletter, design relevant educational programs, and create valuable networking opportunities for chapter members. Katie currently serves as the co-chair of the FBA Oregon Chapter Dinner Committee. The annual dinner, the first in-person dinner since the pandemic, was held on April 25, 2025, and was attended by over 200 legal professionals.

About Katie Bennett
Katie focuses her practice on commercial litigation, with an emphasis on complex domestic and international business disputes. She is adept at all phases of litigation, from drafting pleadings to depositions and oral arguments. She has also participated in various alternative dispute resolutions, including mediations and arbitrations. She received her bachelor’s degree from Oregon State University before earning her law degree at Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where she also served as an adjunct professor for over two years.
