Miller Nash attorney Julianne Avery has been appointed as co-chair of the Energy Committee for the American Bar Association (ABA) Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources (SEER). The SEER Energy Committee provides a venue for energy law practitioners and others to discuss the challenges and developments that arise in the energy sector. Her term as co-chair will run from 2025-2026.

About Julianne Avery

Julianne develops effective solutions to clients’ complex business and environmental problems. She brings deep experience in state and federal actions involving contract and other business disputes and a broad array of environmental, energy, and insurance coverage issues. During law school, Julianne served as an extern to Judge Amy D. Hogue at the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles and as a full-time honors law clerk with the United States Environmental Protection Agency in Washington, D.C., where she worked for the Mobile Source Enforcement Branch of the Air Enforcement Division. Julianne received her bachelor’s degree at Colgate University before earning her law degree at Pepperdine University Caruso School of Law.
