Miller Nash partner Jessica Cohen has been appointed to the board of the Mother Attorneys Mentoring Association of Seattle (MAMA Seattle). She will serve as a co-director of the Networking Committee. Her term will run for two years, ending in December 2027.
“I’m honored to be appointed to the board of an impactful organization like MAMA Seattle,” says Jessica. “I’m looking forward to working more closely with MAMA Seattle in this role and furthering their goal of supporting mother attorneys.”
MAMA Seattle was founded in 2006 to further the interests of mother attorneys in Seattle and beyond. They provide resources, programming, and events designed to connect, support, inspire and engage their members to network with and learn from each other. They aim to empower attorney mothers, encourage professional success, and celebrate and support their members’ roles both as attorneys and as mothers.

Jessica focuses her practice on real estate transactions including purchases, sales, leasing, financing, and refinancing. With a strong background in affordable housing, senior housing, and healthcare, as well as industrial, agricultural, and office properties, she brings a diverse range of knowledge and expertise to every client matter. Jessica is committed to an active pro bono practice. She frequently represents small businesses and nonprofit organizations in real estate and leasing issues. Jessica received her bachelor’s degree from Smith College before earning her law degree at the Seattle University School of Law.
