Miller Nash partner, Jessica Cohen, has been elected as the director of the Real Property Council of the Washington State Bar Association Real Property, Probate, and Trust (RPPT) Section. Her term as Real Property Council Director will run from October 2025 to September 2027. She will then serve as Secretary/Treasurer from October 2025 to September 2028, and then Chair of the RPPT Section from October 2028 to September 2029.
“I am excited to rejoin the RPPT Section after serving in years past and to collaborate with a dedicated group of attorneys across the State,” says Jessica.
The RPPT section is composed of legal professionals whose practices span the areas of real property, trusts, and estates. The Section’s governance structure includes two separate councils: the Real Property Council and the Probate and Trust Council. The Section sponsors CLEs, produces newsletters, and hosts listservs and websites providing resources to members. In addition, they assist the legislature in the enactment, improvement, and just administration of laws affecting real property, probates, trusts, and estates.
