Miller Nash LLP partner Gary Christensen was recently invited to join the Emeritus Committee of the Oregon State Bar Construction Law Section. The Emeritus Committee comprises past executive committee members interested in staying involved and engaged with the section. The Emeritus Committee allows the Construction Law Section to retain members’ institutional knowledge and experience, helping keep the section community strong. Christensen served on the executive committee for almost 20 years, including as past chair.

Christensen chairs the firm’s construction industry team and has more than 30 years of experience representing all segments of the design and construction industry in the Northwest. He focuses his practice on commercial construction litigation, negotiation of design and construction contracts, insurance recovery, public contracting, and strategic options for construction projects. Christensen is a frequent speaker and author of relevant construction law topics for the construction industry, including owners and developers, contractors and subcontractors, suppliers, and design professionals. He received his bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University before earning his law degree at the J. Reuben Clark Law School.
