Eva Novick Elected Chair of Oregon State Bar Technology Law Section

Miller Nash attorney Eva Novick was elected chair of the Technology Law Section of the Oregon State Bar (OSB). Eva has been on the section’s executive committee since 2022, served as treasurer in 2024, and was chair-elect in 2025. She will serve as chair in 2026.

About Eva Novick

Eva is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (AIGP, CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPM, FIP, PLS) and leads Miller Nash’s privacy & data security team. She advises clients, both business and individual, on complying with U.S. and international data privacy laws, and remediating and responding to data security incidents. She works closely with clients on compliance with state and federal privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (CCPA/CPRA) and international laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). She also represents clients in privacy-related litigation, including defending and resolving class action claims involving alleged data breaches, website tracking technologies, and consumer protection violations. Eva received her bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University before earning her law degree at the University of North Carolina School of Law.
