Craig Chamberlain
About Craig
Craig Chamberlain assists lenders in a wide range of complex financing transactions, including multi-lender and multi-property affordable housing financings, asset-based lending arrangements, and single-lender credit facilities, both secured and unsecured. His work regularly involves drafting and negotiating loan, guaranty, and security documents; structuring collateral packages; analyzing leases, title reports, surveys, and zoning matters; and reviewing corporate and other due-diligence materials. Craig also represents lenders in syndicated credit facilities (including in their capacity as the administrative agent) and other multi-party financings, helping them navigate intercreditor, subordination, participation, and collateral-sharing issues.
In addition to his lender-side practice, Craig has experience advising companies on the borrower side of financing transactions, including real-estate-secured loans, construction and permanent financings, acquisition financings, and refinancings. He works closely with business owners and in-house teams to negotiate loan terms, address real estate and collateral issues, and align financing structures with broader business objectives. Craig’s borrower-side work allows him to anticipate lender concerns and efficiently resolve issues, helping clients move transactions forward with clarity and confidence.
