About Christopher

Christopher Riley is a litigation attorney representing clients in complex disputes involving securities, antitrust, maritime, and international matters. He provides strategic counsel across all stages of litigation, including pre-litigation planning, alternative dispute resolution, discovery, motion practice, and trial support.

As a member of the firm’s international and maritime law teams, Chris assists clients with enforcing foreign arbitral awards in U.S. courts, foreclosing on preferred maritime mortgages, arresting and attaching vessels, and litigating maritime contracts and torts. He advises both domestic and international clients on compliance with regulatory and legal standards.

Before joining Miller Nash, Chris served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Gabrielle R. Wolohojian at the Massachusetts Appeals Court and the Honorable Karin J. Immergut at the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon. In these roles, he gained significant trial and appellate experience, preparing materials for civil and criminal trials, drafting judicial opinions and orders, and observing proceedings at both trial and appellate levels.
