Miller Nash welcomes Khalid Aziz to the firm’s construction & insurance recovery team. Khalid, based in the firm’s Seattle office, focuses his practice on developing and tailoring coverage strategies designed to manage risk and minimize the cost of disputes.

In his insurance practice, Khalid represents policyholders in disputes with their insurance companies and has successfully recovered policy benefits from a wide range of insurance policies. When it comes to construction matters, Khalid represents contractors in claims arising out of complex commercial disputes on both public and private projects.
Prior to joining Miller Nash, Khalid represented policyholders and contractors at a Seattle-based firm.

Khalid is known for his clear communication style, detail-oriented approach, and his commitment to collaborative client service, all of which he has utilized to recover tens of millions of dollars in settlements for his clients through mediation, arbitration, and litigation in both federal and state courts. He works closely with clients to identify and implement solutions without expensive and protracted legislation. Khalid received his bachelor’s degree from the University of California San Diego before earning his law degree at the University of Washington School of Law.
