Mark Tyler Rejoins Miller Nash in Vancouver Office

Miller Nash LLP welcomes Mark Tyler back to the firm. Mark, based in the firm’s Vancouver office, represents clients in a variety of complex litigation matters. He will continue to support all phases of litigation and dispute resolution, including legal research, drafting pleadings, expert testimony analysis, and trial preparation.

About Mark Tyler

Prior to private practice, Mark worked as a deputy prosecuting attorney for the Clark County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, where he represented the state and county in the prosecution of Class B and C felony offenses with a focus on financial crimes. He also previously worked as an assistant district attorney for the State of Alaska where he represented the state in the prosecution of Class A and Unclassified Felony offenses, conducted negotiations with defense counsel, and participated in frequent court appearances.

Before law school, Mark obtained his Certified Public Accountant license from the State of Oregon. He worked for KPMG as a financial auditor in their Anchorage and Portland offices where he had the opportunity to serve a variety of clients including several Alaska Native Corporations, government and not-for-profit entities, and a number of SEC regulated, publicly-traded companies. Mark received two bachelor’s degrees in political science and accounting from Brigham Young University and Portland State University, respectively, before earning his law degree from J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University.
