Jim Yand has been elected to serve a second term as president of the Music Aid Northwest (MANW) Board of Directors. MANW is a nonprofit organization that supports music education in Washington State's public schools. Harnessing the power of Washington’s strong music community, a group of volunteers raise funds throughout the year to show that Music Matters in the Northwest. Since it was founded in 2005, MANW has granted over one million dollars to over 150 schools across the state. Jim has served on the MANW board since 2019.
“Providing access to music for schools struggling financially in Washington State continues to be a priority given its positive impact on the career success for young people and the pure joy it brings to others,” said Jim. “I appreciate the opportunity to further serve in this role and support MANW’s mission.”
