Miller Nash welcomes Hugo Fraga to the firm’s construction team. Hugo, based in the firm’s Seattle office, represents owners, developers, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, design professionals, and sureties on private and public construction projects. He handles all aspects of construction litigation, including delay and impact claims, construction defects, default terminations, change-order and extra-work claims, and payment or mechanics’ lien disputes.

Hugo joins Miller Nash’s nationally recognized construction team, which provides comprehensive legal support and tailored client service to construction clients across the Pacific Northwest. The team represents general contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, and public and private owners and developers. Attorneys assist clients in complex matters involving construction defects, liens, bid protests, payment claims, and delays, as well as provide custom contract drafting and negotiation support. The team is also well versed in insurance recovery disputes and risk management, including contract administration, permitting and regulatory compliance, project delivery, and preparation of RFPs and ITBs.

Prior to joining Miller Nash, Hugo practiced at a boutique construction law firm in Seattle.

He is committed to providing clients with sound judgment and practical, business-minded legal counsel and works together with them to develop efficient approaches tailored to each matter. Hugo received his bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University before earning his law degree at the University of Washington School of Law.
