Erica Clausen Elected to CEJ Oregon Board of Directors

Miller Nash LLP attorney Erica Clausen was recently elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Lawyers’ Campaign for Equal Justice (CEJ) Oregon. CEJ was established in 1991 by Oregon lawyers whose mission it was to provide equal access to justice for all Oregonians. CEJ is the main support organization for Oregon’s statewide legal aid programs, raising more than $30 million over the past 30 years to help low-income and elderly Oregonians access critical resources, including food, shelter, medical care, and physical safety. Miller Nash is a longtime supporter of CEJ through fundraising, board participation, and pro bono work.

Erica’s practice focuses on eminent domain, public entities, nonprofits, and higher education, as well as sports and entertainment; she also has broad familiarity with various types of complex civil litigation. Erica has diverse experience representing local, national, and international clients in complicated and often high-profile disputes in state and federal courts. She prides herself in addressing client needs in advance of litigation, including negotiations with various regulatory bodies or governmental entities. In addition to her involvement with CEJ, she also serves on the WISE Portland Board of Directors. Erica received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa, where she played soccer, before earning her law degree at Lewis & Clark Law School.
