Alexandra Hutchinson Appointed as Chair of Multnomah Bar Association Young Lawyers Section’s Service to the Public Committee

Miller Nash LLP attorney, Alexandra Hutchinson, has been appointed as chair of the Young Lawyers Section’s (YLS) Service to the Public Committee of the Multnomah Bar Association (MBA).

The YLS is an inclusive section of the bar, comprised of any MBA member in practice less than six years or under the age of 36. The YLS provides leadership, networking, professional development and service opportunities, in addition to a business development network. As chair of the Service to the Public Committee, Alex will help guide the committee as they provide programs to engage young lawyers in community outreach activities that educate the public about the legal system, the positive role of attorneys in society and the legal resources available to the community.

About Alexandra Hutchinson
Alex assists businesses in a wide range of corporate transactional matters. She reviews, drafts and negotiates a variety of contracts, in addition to advising on issues related to mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and formation and partnerships. Alex has a background in securities and business litigation, giving her a unique perspective into how businesses operate, and the protections needed to avoid disputes. She is also passionate about serving her community and currently serves on the Emerging Professionals Board of the Blanchet House and on the Ambassador Board of Youth Villages, a nonprofit serving youth who face emotional, mental and behavioral issues and youth aging out of foster care. Alex received her bachelor’s degree from Portland State University before earning her law degree at Willamette University College of Law.
