Miller Nash Promotes Garrett Ledgerwood to Partner

Miller Nash is pleased to announce that Garrett Ledgerwood has been promoted to partner. Based in the firm’s Portland, Oregon office, and licensed to practice in Oregon, Washington, and New York, Ledgerwood joined the firm in 2020 as senior counsel. Ledgerwood is the team leader for the firm’s bankruptcy & creditors’ rights practice group and has extensive experience in representing lenders and creditors in bankruptcy, collection actions, loan modifications and workouts, foreclosures, and receiverships, as well as borrowers in a variety of financing transactions. He currently serves on the board of directors of the Turnaround Management Association-Northwest Chapter.

About Garrett Ledgerwood
Ledgerwood focuses his practice on bankruptcy and creditors’ rights, including all aspects of the restructuring of financially distressed businesses and representation in senior secured, ABL, and mezzanine financings. He also handles chapter 11 cases, including in connection with bankruptcy sales, debtor-in-possession and exit financing, workouts, and plan negotiation and formulation. Before joining Miller Nash, Ledgerwood practiced at an international law firm on Wall Street, where he gained extensive experience in representing multinational commercial banks, private equity lenders, and hedge funds in insolvency and commercial lending transactions. Ledgerwood graduated cum laude from Texas Tech University before earning his law degree at Washington and Lee University School of Law, where he graduated summa cum laude and was elected to the Order of the Coif. During law school, Ledgerwood served as a law clerk for the Honorable S. Martin Teel, Jr., at the United States Bankruptcy Court.
