Miller Nash attorney Michael Zangl has been appointed to the QLaw Association of Washington Board of Directors.

“I am honored to be a part of the work QLaw does to advocate for the LGBTQ+ community,” says Michael.

QLaw is the LGBTQ+ bar association for Washington’s lawyers and legal professionals. It serves as a voice for the LGBTQ+ legal community in the state of Washington on issues relating to diversity and equality in the legal profession, in the courts, and under the law. The association works to further the professional development and advancement of LGBTQ+ lawyers and legal professionals, as well as to empower members of the LGBTQ+ community by improving access to the legal and judicial system and sponsoring education programs.

About Michael Zangl
Michael is a member of the firm’s education law and employment law & labor relations practice teams. He uses a thoughtful and proactive approach to supporting the firm’s clients in a variety of education and employment matters. Michael has experience representing clients in federal court and defending education institutions against constitutional and tort claims. He also serves higher education clients by conducting independent workplace investigations related to discrimination and fulfillment of job responsibilities. Michael received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington before earning his law degree at the Seattle University School of Law.
