Iván Resendiz Gutierrez Elected to Serve on the Board of the Oregon Chapter of the Federal Bar Association



Miller Nash Graham & Dunn attorney Iván Resendiz Gutierrez was recently elected to serve on the board of the Oregon Chapter of the Federal Bar Association (FBA). The local chapter of the FBA is a vital source of educational programming and an important connection with the federal bench in Oregon. Board members help produce the chapter newsletter, design relevant educational programs and create valuable networking opportunities for chapter members. Resendiz Gutierrez is also an active member on the FBA’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee, which aims to expand and foster a diverse and inclusive legal community.

About Iván Resendiz Gutierrez
A member of Miller Nash Graham & Dunn LLP’s appellate, education and employment practice teams, Resendiz Gutierrez advises and represents public and private employers, school districts and higher education institutions on a wide range of employment issues and litigation, including appeals, employment discrimination, disability discrimination and accommodation, harassment, wrongful termination (as well as other tort claims) and workplace investigations. Before joining Miller Nash Graham & Dunn, Resendiz Gutierrez served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Lynn R. Nakamoto at the Oregon Supreme Court and the Oregon Court of Appeals. He is active in the Oregon legal community, currently serving as a member of the Oregon State Bar Appellate Practice Section Executive Committee, a board member of the Oregon Minority Lawyers Association and a board member of Legal Aid Services of Oregon and the Oregon Law Center. Resendiz Gutierrez is the immediate past president of the Oregon Hispanic Bar Association. A proud “Double Duck,” Resendiz Gutierrez earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Oregon before receiving his law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law.
