Elise Brickner-Schulz Elected President of Oregon Chapter of the ALA

Miller Nash Graham & Dunn LLP’s Elise Brickner-Schulz, Director of Oregon Litigation Workflow and Legal Staff Manager, was elected to serve as President of the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA)—Oregon Chapter, an international association with over 10,000 members worldwide.

“It’s an exciting time for ALA, and I am pleased to be elected to serve,” Brickner-Schulz said. “I’m looking forward to learning from and contributing to our members and board, who strive for success and progress in the changing legal landscape, and work for effective collaboration toward this goal.”

According to the ALA website, the Oregon Chapter is a dynamic group of legal professionals and offers scheduled monthly general and section meetings, ALA-sponsored teleconferences with nationally known speakers, and other educational programs that focus on finance, human resources, marketing, technology and other operational topics of interest to the legal profession. Brickner-Schulz’s role as President is for one year, effective as of April 2018. She has served as ALA’s President-Elect and Resource Services Director since 2015, alongside Jennifer Blakeley, Miller Nash Graham & Dunn’s Director of Human Resources, who is currently the Publications Director of ALA—Oregon Chapter. About Elise Brickner-Schulz
Brickner-Schulz has worked at Miller Nash Graham & Dunn since 1987. She is responsible for workflow coordination and productivity for the firm’s litigation associates. She is also involved in the firm’s associate training program. Brickner-Schulz is an experienced paralegal in the practice areas of securities, corporate and shareholder disputes; banking and financial institutions; litigation, arbitration and mediation; and products liability.
