Article

The construction industry has increasingly attempted (with varied success) to build projects using alternative delivery methods. Alternative delivery methods seek to increase communication, cooperation, and risk/reward-sharing with the goal of reducing scope gaps, unforeseen costs and delays, and claims. New alternatives and refined practices are being used in various public and private projects throughout the region. In this session, our speakers will review the leading alternative methods, highlight advantages and disadvantages, share experiences, and discuss how the construction landscape is changing.

The program will cover:

  • Integrated Project Delivery (IPD)
  • Design-Build (DB)
  • Construction Manager General Contractor (CM/GC)
  • Public and Private Sector Projects

Following the update, the presenters will remain available to address questions.
