Janna Akers

Janna Akers is a member of the firm’s employment law & labor relations practice team. She helps employers navigate and resolve workplace issues, including disputes involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour claims, and unfair business practices. Janna represents clients in mediation, arbitration, and litigation in both state and federal courts, and works closely with them to develop practical strategies for resolving conflicts and protecting their interests.

Before joining Miller Nash, Janna practiced at a national law firm, where she focused on labor and employment, education, and business law. She also has experience handling civil matters such as personal injury and accident cases, giving her a broad perspective on how to approach complex disputes.
