Midlevel Employment Litigation Associate–Long Beach, CA (Hybrid Position)
Our employment law and labor practice team is looking to add a litigation-focused employment associate with two to five years of experience in Long Beach, California.
Our ideal candidate will have focused experience in litigation and employment law, preferably in representation of both public and private management/employers in state and federal courts, as well as agency proceedings. This position requires strong trial skills including litigation strategy, motion practice, and discovery with strong written and oral communication skills. Additional experience drafting policies, handbooks, and employment-related agreements, and advising employers on wage/hour issues, leave law compliance, disability accommodation, and discrimination and retaliation issues, preferred.
We are looking for a team member who is hard working and responsive, exercises good judgment under pressure, has excellent research and writing skills, is self-directed while maintaining the ability to work in a team environment, and will be ready to hit the ground running on immediate client needs. A California license to practice is required, and a Washington or Oregon license is beneficial. Flexible hybrid work arrangements are available to all Miller Nash attorneys.

Compensation:

- Associate level based on years of experience and location: Compensation range from $172,000–$222,500 (before potential discretionary bonus)
