Miller Nash Adds Ryan Hall and Brianna Wellman to Expanding Construction Team

Miller Nash Graham & Dunn LLP is pleased to announce that two attorneys have recently joined the firm’s Portland office—Ryan C. Hall and Brianna Wellman. Hall and Wellman both join the firm’s growing construction law team, representing owners, developers, general contractors and specialty contractors, advising on contract negotiation and litigating disputes for large and small construction projects in the Northwest and across the country.

Earlier in 2019, Miller Nash Graham & Dunn added four attorneys to its construction law team—partners Kyle SciuchettiJacob Zahniser and Tristan Swanson, and associate Andrew Guess. The increased depth of the construction team allows the firm to better serve the diverse needs of clients in the development industry.

About Ryan C. Hall
Hall’s experience encompasses both transactional and business litigation matters, including drafting contracts and providing general business advice, as well as representing clients in litigation matters involving construction disputes. He graduated magna cum laude from Texas Tech University before earning his law degree at University of Oregon School of Law, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif. During law school, Hall externed for the Honorable Charles Carlson of the Lane County Circuit Court, served as a Managing Board Member of the Oregon Law Review, was co-director of the Green Business Initiative Student Association and participated in the University of Oregon School of Law Small Business Clinic, which provides free legal services to Oregon business owners.

About Brianna Wellman
Wellman will help clients navigate the complicated construction and design industry on matters related to construction financing, building and completion. Additionally, Brianna has a deep understanding of the Oregon court system, which will be an asset when representing clients in state and federal courts. Before joining Miller Nash Graham & Dunn, Brianna gained valuable experience serving as a law clerk for the Honorable Steven Powers of the Oregon Court of Appeals and as a legal extern at the Oregon State Legislature. She received her bachelor’s degree from Cornell University before earning her law degree at Willamette University College of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude and was a staff editor for the Willamette Law Review.
