Brianna J. Wellman
Brianna Wellman focuses her practice on construction law. She helps clients navigate the complicated construction and design industry on matters related to construction financing, building, and completion. In addition to advising on transactional matters, Brianna has an intricate understanding of the Oregon court system which she brings to bear when representing clients in state and federal courts.
Before joining Miller Nash, Brianna gained valuable experience serving as a law clerk for the Honorable Steven Powers of the Oregon Court of Appeals where she drafted opinions in civil and criminal appeals. Brianna’s experience also includes serving as a legal extern at the Oregon State Legislature where she conducted comparative analyses of proposed Oregon legislation and other states’ laws. During law school, Brianna was a staff editor for the Willamette Law Review, a writer for Willamette Law Online, and a law clerk in the Civil Recovery section of the Oregon Department of Justice.
Represented private university in negotiating construction contracts for new learning center dedicated to science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
Represent general contractor in connection with dispute against subcontractor regarding defective window installation in low income housing project.

Brianna enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest by hiking, wine tasting, stand up paddle boarding, and adventuring with her golden retriever, Clyde.
