Midlevel Financial Institutions Associate—Seattle, Washington
Miller Nash is searching for a banking attorney with two to four years of experience to join our Financial Services Department and our Business and Corporate practice team. Our financial services attorneys are recognized as leading legal advisors to public and private financial institutions of all sizes throughout the western United States. We are proud to be trusted advisers to banks, credit unions, and other types of financial institutions on issues ranging from complex strategic mergers and day-to-day regulatory compliance to complex loan recoveries, lender liability claims, and consumer class action litigation.
Our ideal candidate for this position will have substantive experience representing financial institutions and other businesses in matters involving regulatory compliance, lending, operations, corporate structure, vendor contracts, mergers and acquisitions, drafting definitive agreements, securities registrations, and SEC reporting and compliance obligations.
We are looking for a team member who is hard working and responsive, exercises good judgment under pressure, has excellent research and writing skills, is self-directed while maintaining the ability to work in a team environment, and will be ready to hit the ground running on immediate client needs. Membership in the Washington State Bar Association or qualification for reciprocity is required. California State Bar license is a plus.
