These funds support the critical work that nonprofits are doing across Oregon.
Food Lifeline collectively upholds everyone’s right to nourishing, culturally relevant foods by sourcing and distributing food to 299 partner agencies (food banks, meal programs, and shelters) to reach the more than 2.3 million people currently experiencing food insecurity in Western Washington. Serving 17 counties, Food Lifeline distributes the equivalent of 166,000 meals each day.
The Long Beach Ronald McDonald House is a “home away from home” for families with critically ill children. It provides a place to stay, a source of comfort and care, and a chance to focus all of their energies on the one thing that matters most: their child. Through gifts of time, talent, and financial support, the Long Beach Ronald McDonald House is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, for the families of children facing critical—often life-threatening—illnesses.
Clark County Food Bank is a regional food bank that distributes over 8 million pounds of food and 6.7 million meals a year. They partner with 43 partners at 130 distribution sites to serve the food-insecure in the Vancouver, WA region. With 65,000 hungry individuals in Clark County, the need is great—and they are here to help.
The Alaska Community Foundation (ACF), established in 1995, cultivates, celebrates, and sustains all forms of philanthropy to strengthen Alaska’s communities. Their mission is to inspire the spirit of giving and connect people, organizations, and causes to strengthen Alaska’s communities now and forever.
The Idaho Foodbank is an independent, donor-supported, nonprofit organization founded in 1984, and is the largest distributor of free food assistance in Idaho. Since 1984, The Foodbank has distributed millions of pounds of food through its facilities in Meridian, Lewiston, and Pocatello. In the last fiscal year, The Foodbank provided food for nearly 24 million meals to Idahoans in need.
The National Immigrant Justice Center (NIJC) defends the rights of immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers. NIJC’s advocacy and legal services teams keep families together, free people from the dangers of immigrant detention, and prevent asylum seekers and long-time community members from being deported based on unjust laws and illegal government actions.
We wish you a joyful holiday season and a happy New Year!
