Miller Nash LLP partner, Seth Row, has been appointed to the American Bar Association Litigation Section Council. The ABA’s Litigation Section provides litigators in all practice areas with resources to become successful and experienced advocates and serves as a voice for litigators in rulemaking and judicial appointments. The Section offers opportunities for business networking and career advancement, and a large portfolio of educational publications and webinars created by top litigators from across the country. Seth has held numerous positions within the Litigation Section since 2009, including his current role as cochair of the Virtual Programming Board since 2021. The Litigation Section’s Council functions as its Board of Directors. For the 2023-2024 bar year, Seth and his fellow Council members will be responsible for overseeing implementation of the Litigation Section’s new Strategic Plan.

Seth leads the firm’s insurance recovery practice team and focuses his litigation practice primarily on insurance coverage disputes—exclusively on the policyholder side. In his more than 20 years of practice, he has assisted clients in recovering millions of dollars under nearly every kind of insurance policy, including property, business income, Directors & Officers, representations & warranties, marine and cyber-risk policies. Seth is recognized as a “Leader in Their Field” by Chambers USA for Litigation: General Commercial. In addition, he has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America® in Litigation—Insurance and Insurance Law. Seth received his bachelor’s degree from Yale University before earning his law degree at Georgetown University Law Center.
