Miller Nash Graham & Dunn LLP attorney George Kaai has been elected to serve on the board of directors of the Independent Colleges of Washington.
Independent Colleges of Washington (ICW) promotes the unique educational opportunities of the state’s independent colleges, the benefits of students being able to attend their "best fit" college, and the value of higher education to the state. ICW endeavors to ensure that its students, including first generation, low-income and underrepresented youth, can secure the financial resources necessary to choose their ideal educational environment. ICW advocates for public policy that supports students and builds strategic collaborations to tell the compelling story of private non-profit colleges in Washington.

About George Kaai
Kaai is an attorney on the Miller Nash Graham & Dunn real estate & land use and business teams. Kaai assists clients with a variety of commercial real estate transactions, including drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements and lease agreements for owners of office, retail, and industrial space. In addition, he drafts and negotiates easement agreements to resolve boundary disputes and other encroachments, as well as to permit certain construction and environmental remediation efforts. Kaai also works with lenders in real estate finance and commercial secured transactions. He has represented clients in several different industries, including education, financial services, energy, natural resources, and retail.
