Seattle partner Duncan Butcher has been selected to serve on the Seattle Aquarium Board of Directors. As stewards of the Aquarium, board members ensure the care for the Aquarium’s staff and animals and set the institution up for long-term viability and success.
Butcher has served on the Seattle Aquarium’s auxiliary board since 2015, including a term as vice chair. The auxiliary board was formed to actively involve Seattle’s young professionals and their communities in the Aquarium’s mission through innovative and engaging programs, events, and activities.
The Seattle Aquarium is the region’s premier resource for hands-on marine experiences and conservation education. It is the ninth largest aquarium in the U.S. by attendance and among the top five attractions in downtown Seattle.
