David Brandon Elected to Serve on the Executive Committee of the Oregon State Bar Taxation Section

Miller Nash Graham & Dunn attorney David Brandon was recently elected to serve a two-year term on the Executive Committee for the Oregon State Bar (OSB) Taxation Section. The Taxation Section of the OSB provides a forum for sharing information about federal and state tax issues, helps promote professionalism, leadership and continuing legal education and reviews and comments on new tax-related legislation and administrative rules. Executive Committee members oversee and manage the affairs of the Section. Brandon is also currently serving on the OSB Taxation Section’s Laws Committee.

About David Brandon
Brandon is a tax and business attorney whose practice focuses on the tax consequences of significant events and transactions undertaken by for-profit and nonprofit organizations. He regularly advises on entity choice, formation and governance matters, obtaining federal tax-exempt status for nonprofit corporations, sales and acquisitions of businesses and domestic and cross-border transactions. Brandon is active in the local community, serving on the board of Serendipity Center, a nonprofit therapeutic school that serves at-risk students. Brandon received his bachelor’s degree from Gonzaga University, where he graduated magna cum laude, and earned his law degree and LL.M. at the University of Washington School of Law, where he specialized in taxation law.
