Miller Nash Names Two Additional Partners to Executive Committee


LeAnne Bremer and Erich Merrill Take On Leadership Roles at Pacific Northwest Law Firm

PORTLAND, Ore. – March 16, 2010 –The partners of northwest regional law firm Miller Nash elected two new partners, LeAnne Bremer and Erich Merrill, to its five-person executive committee. Bremer and Merrill join Miller Nash's managing partner Don Burns and partners Dennis Rawlinson and Guy Towle in overseeing the management of the firm. Bremer is the partner in charge of the firm's Vancouver, Wash., office, and is a land use, real estate and government affairs lawyer. Merrill is a senior partner in the firm's business and mergers and acquisitions practice team.

"LeAnne and Erich's election to Miller Nash's executive committee shows how much they are respected by the partners," said Burns. "We look forward to the contributions they will make to the management of the firm."

Miller Nash's executive committee members serve three-year terms.

· About LeAnne Bremer

LeAnne Bremer joined Miller Nash in 1999 and focuses her practice on land use law, real estate and government affairs. She is well versed in all land use planning and development issues, including plan review, environmental review and permitting issues. Bremer has substantial experience in preparing land use applications and presenting them to decision-makers for approval. Among other activities, Bremer serves on a committee of the Washington Women Lawyers and is a board member of YWCA Clark County. She is based in Miller Nash's Vancouver, Wash., office.

· About Erich Merrill

Erich Merrill joined Miller Nash in 1983. His practice focuses on assisting clients with entity choice and formation, raising funds from investors, negotiating and writing contracts, sales and acquisitions of businesses, and intellectual property protection and licensing. Based in Miller Nash's Portland, Ore., office, Merrill is an active member of the community. He serves on the board of Friends of Menucha Foundation, is an associate member of Portland Venture Group, and helped organize Miller Nash's Habitat for Humanity teams.
