Professional Experience William A. Van Vactor joined Miller Nash as an associate in 2007. His practice focuses on land use and real estate. Before joining Miller Nash, Will spent a summer as an extern for Chief Justice Christine Durham of the Utah Supreme Court and interned for United States Congressman Peter DeFazio.
Professional Activities Will was admitted to practice in Oregon in 2007. He is a member of the Crook/Jefferson County Bar Association as well as the Deschutes County Bar Association. Will is also a member of the Redmond Urban Area Planning Commission.
Civic Activities Will is a board member of the Humane Society of the Ochocos. In 2008, he was appointed to the City of Prineville Planning Commission.
Education Will earned his degree in political science at the University of Oregon in 2003 with a minor in business. He earned his law degree at the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah. While in law school, Will earned the Certificate in Environmental and Natural Resource Law and was the managing editor of the Journal of Land, Resources, and Environmental Law.
Personal Activities Will enjoys skiing, playing golf, and watching Oregon Ducks football.
