Portland, Ore. – Oct. 8, 2012 – Miller Nash LLP welcomes four new associates to its Portland office. Lauren E. Johnson, Alexander M. Naito, Christine L. Taylor, and Maya P. Waldron are each members of the Oregon State Bar and begin their practices at the firm immediately.

Alexander M. Naito, joins the litigation practice team after earning his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in May. At the University of Pennsylvania, he served as a board member for the Students Against Gender-Based Exploitation Committee, as well as the social chair of Lambda Law. Naito also earned the Dean’s Merit Scholarship.
Lauren E. Johnson, a recent graduate of the Willamette University College of Law, joins the employee benefits team at Miller Nash. While at Willamette University, she received honors for legal research and writing, making the top 10 percentile of the Dean’s Honor List, and graduated magna cum laude.
Maya P. Waldron also joins Miller Nash's litigation practice team after earning her law degree at the University of California at Berkeley School of Law. While at U.C. Berkeley, she was an active member in the community, including participating in the National Environmental Moot Court Competition, the Berkeley Law Foundation, the Boalt Hall Women's Association, and the Ecology Law Quarterly.
Christine L. Taylor joins Miller Nash’s business practice team. Taylor earned her bachelor of arts in political science at the University of Nevada, Reno, where she served as the vice president of Pi Sigma Alpha, a political science honor society. She joins Miller Nash after earning her law degree at Lewis & Clark Law School, where she received the Dean’s Scholarship and served as a member of both the Environmental Justice Advocates and the Environmental Law Review.
