Meghan E. Williams

Partner

Meghan Williams concentrates her practice in general business and real estate law. Her clients range from individuals and small businesses to large publicly held companies. Meghan assists clients with entity formation and corporate governance, sales and acquisitions of companies, and contract review, negotiation, and management. In addition, Meghan advises clients with respect to commercial and residential leasing transactions, real estate purchases and sales, and real estate loans. With respect to real estate matters, she represents landlords, tenants, purchasers, and sellers.

Before joining Miller Nash Graham & Dunn, Meghan worked in a Boston-based law firm as a business associate, and at Lewis & Clark Law School's Small Business Legal Clinic.

Representative Experience

Advise clients on choice-of-entity and formation issues, and help them to form and set up new business entities, review and update existing-entity documents, and dissolve entities.
Prepare and negotiate supply, manufacturing, and distribution agreements for a wide variety of clients including equipment manufacturers and medical device manufacturers.
Represent landlords or tenants and draft and negotiate lease agreements for office space and for residential apartment complexes in Oregon and Washington.
Represent buyers or sellers and assist them to timely close purchase or sale transactions, including drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements and preparing closing documents.
Review, draft, and negotiate general business agreements for clients, including lease agreements, promissory notes and trust deeds, releases, shareholder agreements, partnership and limited liability company agreements, purchase and sale agreements, and service agreements.
