If charity begins at home, then the Northwest is Miller Nash's charitable focus. Since our founding in 1873, the firm has been contributing money and time to many worthy and innovative charitable organizations in our area. We are annually recognized by the Portland Business Journal as one of the most giving intermediate business entities in our region. Our charitable giving principally includes organizations in the following areas: legal services; food and the necessities of life, including shelter; education; health care, including childhood and adult diseases; winter holidays family support and toys; the arts and culture; the environment; regional economic development; and law-related organizations. When disaster strikes abroad, Miller Nash is there as well. For example, substantial donations have been made by both the firm and our people to Haiti earthquake relief and Indian Ocean tsunami relief.
